This policy describes how any personal information that Macau sporting club collects from you of that you provide to us, will be processed by us.
The Macau Sporting Club is fully committed to safeguarding any personal information that you as a customer/member of the club give us and all our management/ staff have been trained on GDPR

Who we are:
Macau Sporting Club, a Private members club located at 16 Patricks Quay, Cork city, Ireland.
During the course of Macau Sporting Clubs activities, personal information about members may be collected, stored and processed in a secure, lawful manner in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation 2018.
Information collected about you and how it is collected:
On becoming a member of Macau Sporting Club a Registration form has to be completed. The information on the form requested is as follows:
- Name and current address
- Contact details i.ephone,email
- Date of Birth
- Copy of I.D.
There is also an option on this form for members to receive updates if they wish to do so.
Other sensitive information you may wish to disclose :
- Medical information
- History of addiction
The personal information on the application form is then processed and stored securely on our computer at the reception desk of the club and only authorized security personnel are allowed access.
Your information provided by you is used to :
- Process your application and on completion successfully become a valued member of Macau Sporting Club
- Run loyalty and reward programmes you have signed up to
- Contact members who have signed up via phone i.e texts or mobile apps of upcoming events, tournaments,competitions and leagues.
Members can at anytime opt out of the above communications.
Also sensitive Personal Information whereby a member requests for self-exclusion or a reversal of a self-exclusion or medical information will only be held for as long as deemed necessary.
Your information may also be collected by our CCTV network of your activities in the club.
Sharing of your personal information:
We do not share, sell or disclose any of your personal information without your consent. When we are legally obliged to share your personal information we will meet those requirements.
How long we keep your information:
We keep your Personal Information for as long as necessary for us to provide you with our services. We also keep your Personal Information to meet our legal and regulatory requirements.
